In our working lives, must of us are confronted with evaluations, and many of us have to deal with inquisitive managers or HR functionaries who want you to take tests and/or surveys with the intend to poke around in your head and “do something” with that precious and sensitive information.

To be clear, we have no problem with programs from which a working environment can benefit. Finding pain points and fix them is part of the social business process.

No, the problem starts when under-qualified managers (or co-workers) start asking (very) personal questions in a less than supportive corporate environment. A great deal of trust is involved with personal evaluations, and providing guided support to improve certain “shortcomings” is an often overlooked necessity.
