In this conversation, we welcome Louise Altman, one of the partners of Intentional Communication Consultants, based in California.

Louise introduces us to how she and her partner George bring an enlivening approach to the work they do by considering those they work with also as partners, which she explains shifts the relationship from vendor-client to partner-partner in an organisation’s change and development.  This approach helps to shift the perception, also, from events to processes. We discuss the importance of not only recognising, but valuing and working with, emotions at work.  Louise’s work is deep work.  She is committed to accompanying people as they uncover greater emotional freedom to say what needs saying and hear what needs hearing in a way that boosts empathy, conviviality and trust in the workplace.
